Camp Wise is Seeking Summer Nurses! Dynamic and energetic nurses are wanted to be a part of our summer staff team in a warm and caring rustic camp environment. Camp Wise is the overnight camp of the Cleveland Jewish Community Center and is located 30 miles east of Cleveland on 325 beautiful acres of forest. Each summer Camp Wise is a second home for 550 boys and girls , ages 7-15. Our camp nurses live at camp and provide holistic health care for our campers and counselors. Our health center is professionally run and managed within a cheerful and relaxed environment. Responsibilities include: · Dispensing medications· First Aid· Managing daily sick call· Maintaining health logs· Communicating with parents· Liaison with local doctors, hospitals, and pharmacies· Training for staff members to ensure the health and safety of the camp communityWorking as a camp nurse is a fantastic summer opportunity for a qualified and confident nurse who loves children and the outdoors. The ideal candidate will be flexible, well organized, and patient. Compensation includes a competitive salary, room and board, travel expenses, use of all camp facilities, and can also include childcare or camp tuition for camp age children.
