Bending the Arc: Disrupting Public Health Disparities
October 24, 2026
Ohio University Dublin
Health disparities are not inevitable—they are the result of systems, policies, and political decisions that shape who has access to care and who does not. At the 2026 ANA-Ohio Jeri Milstead Policy Symposium, nurses will come together to challenge those systems and reimagine what equitable care can look like.
Focusing on school health, mental and behavioral health, immigrant health, and public health systems, this symposium will push beyond conversation into action. Through powerful dialogue, shared experiences, and policy-focused solutions, participants will explore how disparities intersect—and how they can be disrupted.
Nurses are at the center of this work. As the most trusted professionals in healthcare, they see the impact of inequities every day—and hold the power to influence change at every level. This symposium is a call to action: to lead, to advocate, and to bend the arc toward justice and health equity for all.
Registration Rates: $125 members, $150 non-members, $50 pre-licensure students
